YOUR PRIVACY

Recent reports in leading newspapers and by privacy groups indicate that many job boards misuse the information that you submit on your resume and are in fact using this information in aggregate and other fashions to produce additional income avenues. Standard corporate "good business" mentality.

We at Nurse-Recruiter.com want you to know this:

  1. We have a resume data base available for use by our visitors. Unlike our competitors, we do not encourage (and in the case of some job boards, require) you to place your resume in any on-line data base.

  2. We encourage, and directly link our visitors, to the "On-Line Resume Submission Form". This form allows our visitors to submit their resume directly to an employer(s) who is/are advertising on our site. It is not placed in a data base unless you opt to do so, and even then we allow you to control what, if any contact information is displayed to advertisers searching the data base.

  3. We do not use any information collected in resumes for third party sales (period). We are nurses and we want to protect the privacy of our professional colleagues.

  4. Our resume creator is becoming a popular stop at our site. This is a program that allows our visitors to input typical resume data via an on-line form. The software then instantly converts their information in to a resume web page. Unlike a data base, this service gives you a unique URL (web site address) that can be used to e-mail potential employers. Each visitor that chooses to use this free service has the option of determining if the resume will be visible in the "Resume Directory" or not. If you choose to have your resume "invisible", it will not be listed in the directory that is seen by employers.

  5. We give access to employers that want to search our data base and resume web pages. While we screen all requests for usernames and passwords, we cannot guarantee that our security will prevent unwanted and uninvited access. This is a simple reality of the information super highway.

  6. Any aggregate information that may be used will be used only by Nurse-Recruiter.com for purposes of sales, marketing and trend information. That is, we will not sell information that we have acquired as a result of resumes or other forms being submitted to us by our sites visitors.

  7. We will not ever require that nurses register before using our site. Does that put us at a marketing disadvantage? Yes, compared to what the "big boys" are doing, it leaves us unable to answer lots of questions asked by marketing firms and employers. Oh well, as long as you tell your employer, potential employers and our professional colleagues about our site, we're going to do just fine. Let them know you find our services valuable and appreciate our privacy standards.

  8. We will respect and honor as quickly as possible, any requests to have information about you removed. For example, if you had trouble getting your resume out of the data base or resume maker directory, let us know and we'll help you as completely and as quickly as possible.

  9. We pledge to put the human in "Human Resources" on the Internet. You are not just a number to us, you are a professional colleague who will be treated as such. Please, if you e-mail us and we don't respond, e-mail us again. We get hundreds of e-mails everyday. Each one is hand processed. We use no autoresponders. We occasional misfile an e-mail or more likely your e-mail bounced or is lost in cyberspace. Regardless, we want to respond to your needs.

  10. If we're missing something, let us know. We get hundreds of resumes sent to us and the person did not indicate an employer. Nurse-Recruiter.com is not an employer and unless you give us some instructions as to what to do with your resume we're kind of of lost. We will respond to such resumes indicating our willingness to help. And before we send your resume to any company, we will require your expressed permission to release your resume to that organization.
