So what's the difference between adding my resume to the data base and creating a resume web page? Well really it's quite simple. When you add your resume to a data base, our advertisers can search for your resume using a variety of different search criteria. If the criteria matches your resume is some way, they will see your resume in a list of matching results. It's the only way someone will find your resume (and provided of course you have decided to make your resume invisible). Now let's say for example you find this great opportunity and you'd like to share your resume with the company. Well if it's in a data base that's pretty hard to do. But if you've created a resume web page, you have your own unique website address that you can share with the potential employer. You also have a bit more control over what information in contained in a resume web page versus what is in the database.

Currently you have the option to create your resume in our data base and/or as a resume web page at Nurse-Recruiter.com. Either way, you can be assured that we do all that we can to allow you to use these services while leaving you in charge of your privacy! And we promise to never sell, rent or otherwise release your information to any third parties without your expressed, or implied permission. You can see our privacy policy for complete details.

At present, the resume data base and web page generator are two separate programs. If you create both, you will need to create each separately and update them separately. However, we will be updating this in the near futuer so that you will be able to add your resume to our database and then create a resume web page by simply clicking a button. This will generate a resume web page that you can share with others, and even print out a nicely formatted resume document on your printer if you like.

GETTING STARTED
To create your resume web page click here. A partial screen shot of the resume form is shown to the right. The form is divided in to five sections:

  1. Registration
  2. Job Details
  3. Personal Information
  4. Resume Details
  5. A Few Last Details

Keep in mind that the only information that is required when you create a resume is your e-mail address, a user name and a password.

Resume Web Page Form - Partial Screen shot

Your user name will be part of your web site address and cannot contain any spaces or special characters, only letters and numbers.

But what about all this other information? And I though you said I could make it invisible! You can, one of the items in step five gives you a chance to hide your resume from the directory that can be used by our employment advertisers.

Once click the "Submit" resume button at the bottom of the form, you will be given an option upload a "photo". Optionally you could upload a logo, your school's emblem or any other .jpg graphic.

Now you can preview your resume web page. If you want to make changes, click the "back" button on your web browser and change any thing you like. If you're satisifed with the look of your resume, click the "Create Resume" button at the top of the page. That's it, our software will take care of the rest.

Your resume web page's web site address will be:
http://www.nurse-recruiter.com/resumes/username.html

If you want to edit your existing resume web page, click here. Enter your username and password and then alter the document as you see fit. Then follow the steps to resave the newly updated resume.

Well, that's about all there is to it. Now remember, not all job board are created equal and on the Internet, when it comes to privacy, the user needs to beware. I wrote an article on this subject a while back. If you'd like to read it, you can do so by clicking here.

As is always the case, if you have any questions or if we can assist you in any way with our services, please feel free to e-mail us any time. We will actually write you back. You can e-mail us by
