So you're interested in putting your nursing resume in our data base, or you have questions about the privacy and security of using such a service. Great! You're at the right page. This page will give you detailed information about using our data base and in some cases, we'll even give you some important warnings you'll need to know about some of the other resume data bases on the Internet.

What is a resume data base? Well simply put, it is a place where you can store your resume online. But what about your privacy? Well in most cases that's a very legitimate concern. Most job boards make you register to use their services. Most do not allow you to maintain your privacy, and many not only sell you information to employers but they also sell your information to any third party that's interested in buying nursing names, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, and more. Now that's a little scary.

At Nurse-Recruiter.com you can be assured that we do all that we can to allow you to use the Internet to search for you next nursing career opportunity (no registration required), use our tools as you need them, and we leave you in charge of your privacy! And we promise to never sell, rent or otherwise release your information to any third parties without your expressed, or implied permission. You can see our privacy policy for complete details.

Some of the features that make Nurse-Recruiter.com's resume data base unique are simple, we leave you in charge of what, if any information contained in your resume is visible to our advertisers. Oh and by the way, we only allow our employment advertisers access to our resume data base.

GETTING STARTED
To add your resume in our data base, and create an account click here. A partial screen shot of the resume form is shown to the right. The form is divided in to six sections:

  1. Personal Information
  2. Cover Letter
  3. Career Objectives
  4. Education
  5. Employment History
  6. Additional Qualifications

Resume Form - Partial Screen shot

Keep in mind that the only information that is required when you create a resume is your e-mail address. Your e-mail address becomes your username for future log-ins.

But what about all this other information? And I though you said I could make it invisible if I wanted, I don't see that option here! You're correct, we don't give you the option here, because you have the option not to put it in to begin with, however if you do want to put in all of your contact information and then later you want to make it invisible you can. You simply log-in to your account and make the changes.

Once click the "Submit" resume button at the bottom of the form, you will be given an option to add your resume to the data base or not. The reason for this extra page is to make sure everyone understands the difference between this form and the apply on line form. To continue on and add your resume to the database, click the "yes" button.

The final step in creating your resume is the screen shown to the right. You will choose a password, and you'll decide what if any of your contact information is shown when the data base is searched by one of our employment advertisers.

You will need to enter your password twice. Our software will make sure that what you typed in both boxes matches. This is just to prevent you from entering the wrong information.

Finally, you will not that you still have one more chance to cancel adding your resume to the data base.

Final Registration Screen shot

Okay, now it's time to update your resume, it's simple, first you log-in. Your username is your e-mail address and your password is the one your use to register above.

Once you've logged-in, you'll see a screen similar to the one on the right. All of your member services options will be listed in a column on the right. The two options that pertain to your resume are:

"Manage My Resumes" - allows you to update your education, work history, and certifications.

"My Settings" - allows you to update your name, contact information, and what information in your resume that you want visible to employers that may be searching the database.

Well, that's about all there is to it. Now remember, not all job board are created equal and on the Internet, when it comes to privacy, the user needs to beware. I wrote an article on this subject a while back. If you'd like to read it, you can do so by clicking here.

As is always the case, if you have any questions or if we can assist you in any way with our services, please feel free to e-mail us any time. We will actually write you back. You can e-mail us by
